I Forgot!!!

When I wrote the previous post earlier today, I forgot to put in the picture of my new logo.
I guess I won't get suggestions on the colors without the picture!  DUUUUH!!!
Outline the hand in a darker red for more contrast???
And yes, Lauren, I was talking about you!

  2. I like the new logo. Is the rug heart shaped or are you adding some kind of border? Could you do the beading technique(hooking the same row with two colors of wool strips) somewhere on the design? How large is the rug?

  3. I think you need more background in to tell - What don't you like about it - the colors? I tend to put at least 3 and mostly alot more of the same colors in my rugs - I just think it gives it more movement. Like Cathy G. said - are you just leaving it heart shaped or what? If not - i like that idea of beading

  4. Hi Pat, I like the new logo - how about if the hand wwere a lighter shade of tan, that would make the hook really stand out. Then you could use a brighter red for the heart outlined with a darker red. Will you square it up or just leave it heart shaped. That might make a difference in the outline of the heart.

  5. Pat, I think you don't like it because the values are too close. In other words, if you were to convert your photo to black and white, there would be very little distinction between the background and the heart. So the colors aren't necessarily causing the trouble, nor do you necessarily need an outline. Try using a darker of lighter shade of red for the background; or try using a darker or lighter shade of gold for the heart. If you want to add some zip, add a brighter wool somewhere, even snippets will give it sparkle.
