Changes

After a lot of soul searching, I've decided to change the name of my blog.  The URL and everything will stay the same.  The title on the header will be slightly different.

Since there hasn't been a hook in my hand for who-knows-how-long, I've decided the 'Hook' must go.  It will simply be 'From Hand and Heart'.  My interest in handcrafts seems to have tanked.  That is the reason I haven't blogged as much as I used to.  No interesting projects to report.

It will no longer be a blog focusing on rughooking.  It will just be my random interests and what's going on in my life.  There will be craftwork when and if I do anything.  My interest in cooking and restaurants is still running strong, so I will continue to post recipes and reviews.
And there will always be cats.

There will be some other BIG changes in our lives which I will tell about as soon as they begin in the next few weeks.

So if you're still interested, please join me - same place - different name - at
"From Hand and Heart".
 Thanks!

  1. Hi Pat, I'm just waiting for supper to finish cooking so I checked the blogs and I'm happy to have found you here.
What an appropriate sky. I see a small dove just above the trees on the left and I see a hand but I also see a foot. I don't know if it's significant but I looking to read your new blog.

That's what a blog is supposed to be any way, things that are dear to our heart.

I'm just getting my second wind and I noticed that a lot of bloggers have slacked right down and the same with Rug Hooking Daily. We all wear down in the process of doing too much or not enough.

I'm looking forward to reading about your recipes. Have any good meat ball recipes?

Take care and see you then.
    Hugs,
    JB

  4. Hi Pat,
I am sure glad you are going to keep on blogging! When you think of how many years we've been doing this it's no wonder we need a change! It's what blogging should be... the things that we love and love to share! As life changes so goes the blog!! I love your cooking and the kitties! And I'm really intrigued and glad you will be sharing those changes ahead!!
    Big hugs!!

  6. Pat,
No matter what you blog about, I'll be stopping by, if for no other reason than to see the pics of your furbabies. I am so happy to hear you are not leaving us!!! So many have turned solely to Facebook. I do a little of that but for whatever reason, I find blogging more personal.
Oh, you've piqued my curiosity about your changes. What a tease.
    Hugs :)

  8. Hi Pat, believe me... I've slowed down a lot as compared to a few years ago. I used to go and never stop till I went to bed, now I'm taking lots and lots of breaks and leave an awful lot undone but I have no choice, as I get older I don't have the stamina I once had.

I always have so much to do around the yard because I choose to have lots of gardens but I'm alone to do the yard work. Now my back lawn grass is long and it's been raining for two days and I had to make the choice to weed a flowerbed or cut the grass. I chose the weeding before they go to seed. Cutting grass is like doing the dishes, if you can't do it now, it'll get done eventually, lol... but the pesky goes to seeds very fast and then you have seven years of weeding.

I'm looking forward to learning about your "Changes"

    Big hugs,
    JB
