Summer Blogging Vacation

Lately my blogging mojo seems to have died.

I've been going places but I've written about most of them several times before.
We haven't been to any fun new restaurants.
How many sewing and knitting projects can a person write about???  (without boring my readers to tears!)
Not to mention the word 'HOOK' in my header, a tool that I've not been using with very much enthusiasm.  I have been to a few hook-ins but haven't gained much inspiration, though I did pull a few loops on my new rug design.

So that said, I'm taking a summer vacation from blogging.

If anything REALLY exciting happens (I wish!), I'll post about it.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful summer!

p.s.-  I'll still be visiting your blogs and leaving comments when I have time.

  5. I always enjoy your posts... whether kitties, restaurants, cooking, knitting or whatever... you're always up to something clever! What happened to the doll you were sculpting?

Anyways, have a super summer! Hope to read a story here and there from you. I haven't hooked in over a year either... hoping to get back to that after the big quilt is complete!

Love the green of the plant in the pic... and the glass bottle... very nice gathering there!

  14. Hi Pat, thanks for coming over for a visit, it always makes my day.

My cooking sure don't compares to yours unfortunately. Frying marshmallows that won't melt kind of compares to someone who can't boil water, hahaha.

Thanks for your prayers about my niece Suzette. She was a sweetheart with a constant smile. Her husband just adored her and will be lost without her.

I hope that you and Zip are well these days.
    Big hugs, JB

  16. Hi ...had to drop by to tell you that I have just seen a lady demonstrating rug hooking and the method where you push through from the back with short pieces. I so nearly gave in but I didn't ...yet ...she may be starting classes but I may not be able to get to them. She uses recycled fabrics like hosiery t-shirts etc and makes cushion coveres from items that have memories ...like some of her mothers dressed and her childrens baby clothes. I loved the idea of that but I dont think I can start a new hobby if I am honest. Hope you are well ...enjoy the blog break ...give my best to Zip xx
